This role sits within Growth Marketing and focuses on developing, testing, and refining messaging that drives student engagement, application completion, and enrollment. You will partner closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Paid Media, Enrollment, and Partnerships to ensure consistent, high-performing content across the student journey.
This is not a traditional content creation role. Success is measured by how content performs across channels and contributes to overall conversion.
What You'll Do
Email & SMS Content Optimization
  • Write and optimize marketing emails and SMS campaigns across the student lifecycle
  • Develop high-converting subject lines, body copy, and calls to action
  • Partner with Lifecycle Marketing to improve engagement and conversion rates across campaigns
  • Continuously test messaging angles, urgency, and value propositions
Landing Page Content
  • Develop and refine landing page copy to improve conversion rates
  • Optimize headlines, structure, and calls to action based on performance data
  • Partner with Growth and Design to test new page variations and conversion approaches including new user-experiences, designated pathways, etc.
Paid Social & Cross-Channel Ideation
  • Develop content ideas and messaging angles for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn campaigns
  • Translate high-performing email/SMS messaging into cross-channel concepts
  • Partner with Paid Media to test new creative directions and campaign themes
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all student touchpoints including post-event communications
Content Testing & Iteration
  • Generate content ideas and variations for A/B testing across channels
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements
  • Document winning messaging and scale successful approaches across schools and programs
Student Insights & Messaging
  • Gather student feedback and identify common questions, objections, and motivations
  • Conduct student facing user-research to create customer personas
  • Translate insights into clearer, more compelling messaging across channels
  • Support development of messaging frameworks for programs, tracks, and partner schools
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing, lifecycle content creation, copywriting, or related fields
  • Strong experience writing for short-form email and website marketing
  • Experience developing landing page or conversion-focused content
  • Familiarity with paid social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and content best practices
  • Comfortable reviewing performance data and making content recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
Success in This Role
  • Improved email and SMS engagement and conversion rates
  • Increased landing page conversion rates
  • Stronger consistency in messaging across channels
  • Increased volume and quality of content testing
  • Clear, compelling communication of program value to students

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits with performance-based bonus
  • Remote, flexible work environment (and a fabulous office if you're in Austin, TX)
  • A mission-driven team that genuinely believes in what we're building
  • Real ownership and visibility-this is not a large team where work disappears into a backlog
  • The opportunity to shape how we engage higher education partners, employers, students, and the broader education-to-career ecosystem
Benefits
  • 401k, Health, Vision and Dental insurance packages
  • Short term disability insurance
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off
