Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Content Marketing Manager leads Endurance's content strategy, content operations, corporate communications, and community-focused initiatives. This role owns content across the Endurance Learning Center Blog, FAQs, guides, and other educational resources, ensuring content supports customer needs, organic visibility, brand priorities, and business objectives.

The role also supports PR and corporate communications, including executive messaging, awards, campaign activations, and Endurance Cares initiatives. Working cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, SEO, CX, IT, HR/Legal, Development, and external partners, the Content Marketing Manager uses performance insights, search data, and customer needs to continually improve content while ensuring communications are accurate, consistent, on-brand, and compliant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Content Strategy & Performance

  • Own content strategy for the Endurance Learning Center Blog, FAQs, guides, and other customer education resources.
  • Develop and manage content calendars, pillars, and priorities aligned with customer needs, SEO opportunities, brand initiatives, and business goals.
  • Support SEO strategy through content audits, keyword and content-gap analysis, optimization, and ongoing content improvements.
  • Analyze content performance, traffic, search behavior, and SEO insights using GA4, SEMrush, and other reporting tools to inform future priorities.
  • Regularly evaluate existing content to identify opportunities to update, consolidate, repurpose, or retire content.
  • Monitor industry, consumer, search, and cultural trends to identify relevant content opportunities.

Content Operations

  • Oversee the development, editing, publishing, maintenance, and optimization of Endurance content.
  • Serve as the primary content owner for WordPress, including publishing processes, content maintenance, and quality assurance.
  • Manage freelance writers and content resources, including assignments, editorial workflows, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • Manage Clearscope optimization and ensure SEO best practices are incorporated throughout content development.
  • Maintain editorial, brand, and language standards and partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure content accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and improve workflows for content creation, review, approval, publishing, maintenance, and retirement.

 PR, Brand & Corporate Communications

  • Develop and distribute press releases and corporate announcements through PR Newswire/Cision and other communications channels.
  • Manage internal corporate communications in partnership with Marketing, HR, leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead awards strategy, including identifying opportunities and managing submissions.
  • Support executive messaging, talking points, presentations, campaign communications, and company announcements.
  • Coordinate employee communications, internal campaign launches, corporate gifting, and other brand initiatives.
  • Ensure corporate communications consistently reflect Endurance's positioning, messaging, and voice.

Endurance Cares

  • Lead communications and campaign strategy for Endurance Cares and related corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Develop and manage nonprofit, charitable, sponsorship, and community partnerships.
  • Coordinate community events, charitable initiatives, sponsorships, and related activations.
  • Develop internal and external communications supporting Endurance Cares, including PR, blogs, campaign messaging, and employee communications.

 Cross-Functional & Channel Support

  • Support reputation-management communications, including BBB review responses, as needed.
  • Provide backup support for social media and community management.
  • Write and edit copy for Google, Meta, and other paid-media campaigns in partnership with channel owners.
  • Review affiliate and partner content for messaging accuracy and brand alignment.
  • Partner with UX, IT, and other stakeholders on AI-assisted content workflows, governance, sourcing, and accuracy.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, CX, IT, HR/Legal, SEO, Development, and other teams to support broader content and brand initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned or as business needs arise.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in content marketing, content strategy, communications, or a related marketing discipline.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across editorial, web, corporate communications, PR, paid media, and campaign content.
  • Experience writing direct-response copy or content is strongly desired, including an understanding of messaging, offers, calls to action, and conversion.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, content optimization, keyword research, and organic content strategy.
  • Experience using analytics and performance data to evaluate content effectiveness and inform recommendations.
  • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms and managing freelance writers, agencies, vendors, or external partners.
  • Strong project-management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex business or product information into clear, accurate, customer-friendly communications.
  • Ability to balance brand, customer, business, SEO, and compliance considerations while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable identifying opportunities, recommending solutions, and taking ownership of initiatives.

*The compensation for this role falls within an annual salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually + annual performance bonus.*
