Job description

We are seeking an experienced Site Lead / Campaign & Content Manager to support the Army Applications Laboratory (AAL) in Austin, TX. This is a hybrid leadership and execution role combining hands-on campaign management with on-site contract leadership responsibilities.

This position serves as the Contractor’s on-site authorized representative and is designated as Key Personnel under the contract. The role is structured as a working lead, with a minimum of 60% of time dedicated to direct campaign and content execution.

Site Lead Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site authorized representative for contract performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with Government stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative.
  • Represent the company in discussions related to contract execution, performance, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate daily contract operations to ensure services are delivered on schedule and meet performance standards.
  • Monitor quality, performance metrics, and risk areas; proactively communicate issues and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure continuity of services and compliance with security, OPSEC, and information assurance requirements.
  • Maintain availability during core duty hours to engage directly with Government personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Campaign & Content Management Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and measurement of integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain annual brand and campaign strategies aligned with Army modernization priorities.
  • Produce and oversee development of strategic communications products, including articles, talking points, briefings, primers, and digital content.
  • Ensure all content meets editorial standards, branding guidelines, and security compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with digital, Salesforce, operations, and event teams to deliver integrated campaign outcomes.
  • Track campaign performance metrics and provide reporting to Government stakeholders.
  • Personally contribute to writing, editing, and content production activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Active Secret security clearance (required at time of hire).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Affairs, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience leading and executing marketing or strategic communications campaigns.
  • Experience interfacing directly with Government clients or senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a working lead—balancing hands-on production with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX during normal business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD or Army organizations.
  • Familiarity with Army modernization priorities and innovation ecosystems.
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of digital campaign tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Work Environment: This position requires on-site support in Austin, TX. Limited remote work may be permitted based on mission requirements and Government approval. Occasional support outside standard business hours may be required for special events or engagements.
