Job description

About CMIT Solutions

CMIT Solutions is a leading managed services provider (MSP) helping organizations leverage technology to drive business growth, security and operational excellence. As we expand our AI practice, we are seeking an innovative AI Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of next-gen AI solutions powered by agentic workflows, automation and large language models.

This is a unique opportunity to help define the future of AI-enabled managed services while building products that deliver measurable business outcomes for our customers.

About the Role

The Learning and Development Manager builds and manages training programs that enable corporate teams, franchise owners and technicians across the CMIT Solutions network to succeed in a rapidly evolving MSP and cybersecurity landscape. Youโ€™ll own the full learner journeyโ€”from new franchisee on-boarding to ongoing technical certificationโ€”ensuring every learning experience is clear, practical and aligned with business priorities.

This is not a solo content-creation role. Youโ€™ll partner with technical experts, operational leaders and vendors to translate complex information into engaging, learner-ready training. Youโ€™ll also drive innovation in how we use AI and data to accelerate content development, personalize learning, and measure impact.

What Youโ€™ll Own

Training Content & Curriculum - Develop e-learning courses, videos, job aids, assessments, and learning paths for corporate employees, franchise owners, and technicians. - Partner with subject matter experts to translate technical and operational complexity into clear, accessible learning. - Use emerging tools and platforms (including AI) to create content faster and reach more learners.

Learning Management System - Administer the LMS, ensuring courses, learning paths, user access, and reporting remain current and organized. - Track completion, assessment results, and certification progress across all learner populations. - Use data and analytics to identify gaps, update outdated content, and continuously improve the learner experience.

Onboarding Programs - Build and maintain on-boarding experiences for new corporate employees, new franchise owners, and franchisee technicians. - Create role-specific learning paths, checklists, and support resources that accelerate time-to-productivity and readiness. - Measure on-boarding effectiveness and refine based on learner feedback and performance data.

Ongoing Education - Design and deliver training that keeps franchisees and technicians current on new technologies, tools, industry best practices, and business methodologies. - Coordinate timely rollout of training for product launches, vendor updates, and strategic initiatives. - Build technical learning paths that support career progression and certification goals.

Program Measurement - Establish learning objectives and success metrics for all programs. - Track participation, completion, satisfaction, and knowledge retention. - Provide leadership with regular reports on program effectiveness, training needs, and recommendations for improvement.

What You Bring

Experience - 3+ years in learning and development, instructional design, training management, or curriculum development. - Hands-on experience managing a Learning Management System. - Demonstrated ability to create diverse learning formats (e-learning, videos, presentations, job aids, assessments, learning paths). - Strong writing, communication, and project-management skills.

Skills & Aptitudes - Ability to take complex technical and business information and simplify it for diverse audiences. - Comfort partnering with technical subject matter experts and cross-functional leaders. - Experience with data analysis and reporting to inform program decisions. - Comfort experimenting with new tools, platforms, and AI capabilities as the industry evolves.

Nice to Have - Background in an MSP, technology company, cybersecurity organization, or franchise system. - Familiarity with IT service delivery, managed services, or technical certifications. - Hands-on experience using AI tools for content creation, analysis, or workflow acceleration.

Why Youโ€™ll Love This Role

  • Impact at scale: Your work directly supports 500+ franchise owners and thousands of technicians across the CMIT network.
  • Variety: One day youโ€™re designing a technical certification path; the next, youโ€™re building a playbook for new franchisees or refreshing LMS architecture.
  • Growth: Youโ€™ll lead L&D strategy for a fast-growing franchise network in a dynamic industry (managed services and cybersecurity are booming).
  • Innovation: Youโ€™ll drive adoption of AI and modern learning platforms, staying ahead of the curve in how learning is delivered.
  • Supportive culture: Youโ€™ll work with a collaborative leadership team and have real input on learning strategy and priorities.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Percentage of LMS content reviewed and updated on schedule.
  • Training completion rates for corporate employees, franchise owners and technicians.
  • New employee and new franchisee on-boarding completion, satisfaction and readiness.
  • Percentage of key roles with documented learning paths and certification road maps.
  • Technician certification completion and renewal rates.
  • Learner satisfaction, assessment results and knowledge-retention scores.
  • Franchisee participation in ongoing education and adoption of new technologies, services, and methods.
  • Reduction in content development time and cost achieved through AI-assisted authoring.
  • Percentage of training programs incorporating AI-generated content, analytics, or personalization.
  • Franchisee and technician adoption of AI tools introduced through training.

Why Join CMIT Solutions?

  • Opportunity to shape the future within a rapidly growing MSP
  • Full Benefits Package: medical, dental, vision & life insurance
  • 401(k) with a competitive company match
  • Hybrid schedule: After 90 days, Tuesdays and Fridays are WFH

CMIT Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
