SS&E owns and operates the San Antonio Spurs (NBA), Austin Spurs (NBA G-League), and the San Antonio FC (USL), and manages day-to-day operations of the Frost Bank Center, Toyota Field and STAR Complex.

We are looking for a Digital Content Assistant to join our team! This part-time, seasonal position is responsible for assisting in the creation and distribution of digital content on the Spurs Sports and Entertainment Social Channels. The eligible candidate will assist the digital department in creating digital content as well as content management. Candidates should have a strong interest in learning digital best practices as well as creating video and graphic content.
This position is based out of San Antonio, Texas with a projected start date in August 2026.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist with all SS&E franchises (San Antonio Spurs, Austin Spurs, Spurs Way, The Rock at La Cantera, and San Antonio FC) with game coverage, event coverage, and editing. Including, but not limited to, managing photos, video highlights, social copy, and other tasks, as assigned.
  • Utilize knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop to help edit videos and graphics across all SS&E franchises.
  • Lead weekly meetings to brainstorm opportunities to execute current social trends.
  • Create content plans for organizational initiatives, including holidays and themed game nights.
  • Assist with research projects to help optimize social strategy across platforms.
  • Assist in uploading content on various platforms including franchise websites.
  • Assist in logging and tagging social content on a daily basis.
  • Archive both video and photo content across all franchises.

Who You Are:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Previous experience creating content for social media, particularly for sports or entertainment brands.
  • Prior internship or work experience in a digital media or sports media environment.
  • Understanding of current digital trends and social media best practices.
  • Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • Access to means of reliable transportation to local events for coverage.

Physical Requirements:
  • Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
