THE ROLE

Interdependence is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Account Executive to support our Consumer PR practice. In this role, you'll assist in developing and executing creative PR campaigns, supporting client relationships, and collaborating closely with a dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow their career in public relations, media relations, and client service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Support

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of consumer PR accounts, helping build strong relationships and ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic PR plans that align with client objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client results.

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Contribute to the creation and execution of PR campaigns, including media outreach, influencer collaborations, and event activations.
  • Help draft press materials such as press releases, pitches, media alerts, and client communications.
  • Conduct media outreach to secure coverage and enhance brand visibility for clients.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with senior team members and peers, actively participating in brainstorming and planning sessions.
  • Assist with project coordination to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

Insights & Reporting

  • Stay informed about industry trends, media landscapes, and consumer insights.
  • Help track and compile campaign results, preparing clear and insightful client reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of PR or communications experience, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Experience with or interest in Consumer PR, media relations, and influencer marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven success in media outreach and securing coverage.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
