General Contractor – Lead Commercial Restaurant Remodels & Facility Maintenance Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will act as a primary field partner in the execution of high-stakes commercial restaurant remodels and facility maintenance projects. This role empowers you to lead your own crew while working on unique, fast-paced projects for major chain restaurants. You will have the opportunity to showcase diverse trade skills in an environment that prioritizes fast payments and consistent work volume.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Execute full-scale commercial kitchen and restroom remodels to ensure high-quality facility standards.

  • Install specialized restaurant components including quarry tile, stainless steel wall paneling, and FRP.

  • Perform critical electrical and plumbing tasks related to cookline and bar area upgrades.

  • Coordinate with project managers to maintain strict timelines during night-shift operations.

  • Manage interior and exterior facade enhancements to meet brand-specific architectural requirements.

  • Navigate complex ADA inspections and remediations to ensure full site compliance.

  • Maintain a safe and professional job site while traveling to various regional project locations.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction or facility maintenance.

  • Active Workers’ Compensation Insurance (no exemptions) and General Liability Insurance.

  • Proven proficiency in carpentry, framing, drywall, and commercial flooring.

  • Absolute willingness to travel 3-5 hours to project sites and work night shifts.

  • Ownership of professional-grade tools and reliable transportation for crew and materials.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Demonstrated experience in specialized stainless steel and custom wall covering installations.

  • Advanced knowledge of restaurant-specific plumbing and electrical.
