Job description

Fence & Deck Depot is looking for an experienced Deck Installation Subcontractor to install decks in the greater St. Louis Metro Area. This is a subcontracting, year-round outdoor construction role in Deck installation of residential projects.What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Run your own crew to Install decking:
  • Laying out jobs
  • Managing job operations, delegating tasks and managing crew.
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Digging holes and using shovels
  • Using basic hand tools (tape measures, hammers, speed square)
  • Using basic power tools (circular saws, nail guns, drills, impact screw gun).
  • Reading a level
  • Driving vehicles
  • Coordinate with Company Production department in scoping jobs and completing project per details in installerโ€™s packet. All materials are provided.
  • Working occasionally on Saturdays
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Ability to perform physical outdoor work daily
  • Comfortable lifting 50โ€“80 lbs. and working on your feet
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic, having the ability to deliver quality construction at a pace commensurate with a well experienced, and well coordinated team.
  • Ability to provide own crew, truck, trailer and tools.
  • Commercial insurance required.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
Work Environment
  • Outdoor, year-round work in varying weather conditions
  • Local travel to job sites in the St. Louis area
  • Full-time hours with consistent scheduling
Pay
  • Pay administered on a predetermined piece rate scale.
  • Rate sheets available at interviews.
