Job description

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is seeking an energetic and process-driven leader who enjoys mentoring a team. The Operations Manager will provide leadership to the operations team and assist in the daily operational aspects of the business.

What You'll Do
  • Coach, motivate, develop, and manage movers, drivers, and trainers and hold the team accountable
  • Conduct interviews, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training
  • Hold regular meetings with operations teams
  • Manage employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of moving crews
  • Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
  • Promote and ensure compliance with safety procedures, policies, DOT regulations, and FMCSA guidelines
  • Develop strategic sales growth plans with the General Manager to meet revenue and profit objectives
  • Oversee warehouse/storage management
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Who We're Looking For
  • Highly motivated, driven individual with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in operations or logistics
  • A minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role required
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to drive company vehicles, and obtain Medical Examiners Certificate and Non-CDL Class C
  • Proficient with MS Office, cloud-based storage, digital forms, and phone apps
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Willing to work a five-day work week with every other Saturday off
