Conflicts Analyst
Location: Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA), CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (3 Days Onsite), Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $90,000 - $100,000 per year along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.
LHH is working with a well-established law firm in seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join its Risk and Conflicts team. This role plays a key part in supporting the firm's ethical compliance and client intake processes by analyzing potential conflicts of interest related to new matters and lateral hires. The Conflicts Analyst will work closely with attorneys and business support teams to ensure timely clearance of conflicts while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform conflicts checks for new clients and matters, ensuring accuracy of submitted intake information.
  • Analyze conflict search results and identify potential legal or business conflicts requiring further review.
  • Conduct conflicts analysis for lateral hires, including review of prior representations and identification of potential issues.
  • Assist with preparation and tracking of conflict waivers and related documentation.
  • Maintain and update conflicts databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Support ongoing database cleanup, entity research, and data normalization efforts.
  • Respond to inquiries from attorneys and staff regarding conflicts results, policies, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and assist with maintaining conflicts and intake platforms.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of conflicts analysis experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume workflows in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with attorneys and internal stakeholders. Familiarity with conflicts software such as Intapp, 3E, or similar systems preferred.
