This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our office locations. Available schedules for this position are Sunday-Thursday and Tuesday-Saturday.

The Conflicts Analyst is responsible for handling all conflicts-related functions as part the initial intake of new clients/matters and the production of the conflict results report, and also assists with the coordination and documentation for resolving potential conflicts of interest. Essential job functions include:

  • Responsible for processing conflict searches for daily new client and new matter requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform detailed corporate research using various search resources. Includes analysis, interpretation, and application of information via recent press releases and historical references to entities.
  • Thorough review of Intapp Open workflow requests including detailed understanding of the submissions to ensure key information is included for appropriate processing.
  • Provide detailed review of Conflict Results Report to identify true potential conflicts based on established team guidelines.
  • When appropriate, conduct necessary research to determine materiality of potential conflicts.
  • Research Conflicts Database and other firm documents to ensure appropriate conflicts resolution.
  • Contact the appropriate request stakeholders in effort to clear potential conflicts.
  • Communicate daily with the Manager regarding resolution of potential conflicts of interest or any areas of concern relevant to pending requests.
  • Thoroughly document and organize documentation regarding the resolution of potential conflicts of interest.
  • Maintain telephone and personal contact with attorneys and staff on conflict of interest matters.
  • Track status of outstanding or on-going Work Flow requests.
  • Handle special projects assigned by the Director of Conflicts Operations and Conflicts Managers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2‐ or 4-year degree preferred.
  • 3‐5 years’ experience required, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Previous experience with Intapp required.
  • Experience following bankruptcy guidelines and related rules with respect to conflicts processing preferred.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete under time constraints.
  • Ability to perform effectively with moderate supervision and within established time limits and on-going deadlines.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally and provide exceptional service.
  • Ability to respond to requests requiring analysis and decision making for new clients/matter processing.

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:

  • State of Colorado: $58,000 - $103,000
  • State of Illinois: $57,000 - $110,000
  • State of Maine: $43,000 - $98,000
  • State of Massachusetts: $63,000 - $120,000
  • State of Maryland: $61,000 - $92,000
  • State of Minnesota: $63,000 - $104,000
  • Jersey City, NJ: $68,000 - $123,000
  • State of New York: $58,000 -$126,000
  • State of Vermont: $62,000 - $119,000
  • State of Virginia: $41,000 - $119,000
  • State of Washington: $61,000 - $115,000

The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
