Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your Configuration Management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless implementation of Configuration Management and Change Control processes for Signaling Projects, Products, and Programs, contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions to internal and external customers. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Technical Leads, and cross-functional departments), organize and manage project evolutions through change activities, and ensure rigorous traceability and reporting—and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring application of Alstom configuration and change management procedures and instructions. ,

  • Writing and maintaining the configuration and change management plan with PM and technical lead(s) to implement the configuration and change management process and address contractual configuration management requirements. ,

  • Demonstrating ownership of the role for assigned projects, products, and programs while responding to priorities or urgencies. ,

  • Following any other related Alstom processes as required. ,

  • Organizing and managing project, product, or program evolutions through change activities. ,

  • Organizing and updating the configuration and change databases for assigned projects, products, and programs. ,

  • Setting up, planning, and organizing Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, including reviewing Change Requests (CR), verifying documentation, and tracking configuration changes. ,

  • Creating and managing project, product, and program baselines with technical leads, ensuring configuration item identification, baseline definition, review, and freeze. ,

  • Coordinating the workload of all subsystems, including the coordination of Configuration Control Managers. ,

  • Providing Return on Experience (REX) on methods and tools while sharing best practices with the global Engineering community."

  • Knowledge of Configuration Management processes and tools, including working knowledge of IBM's EWM (RTC), ETM (RQM), and DOORs Next Gen. ,

  • Strong communication skills – both oral and written. ,

  • Analytical and multi-tasking skills. ,

  • Ability to ensure rigorous traceability, reporting, and documentation practices. ,

  • Experience in organizing and managing Change Control Board (CCB) activities. ,

  • Knowledge of Railway Signaling products and systems (preferred but not required).
