Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Configuration Analyst/ Principal Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA or Edwards Air Force Base, CA.

Essential Functions:

Performing CDM metrics on a weekly basis and supporting Program prep meetings.

Cross-organizational collaboration to resolve issues associated with reconciliation discrepancies across the As Designed (EBOM), As Planned (MBOM) and As-Built (OBOM) bills of materials including Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Quality Assurance issues.

Performing Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) As Built reconciliation efforts

Training experience in TeamCenter Enterprise (PDM), Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tools, understanding of Bill-of-Materials (Engineering & Manufacturing) and product structure.

CSA deliverables throughout the product lifecycle as well as fulfilling existing CDM program processes and plans in accordance with NGAS sector processes and our customer statement of work.

Basic Qualifications:

Configuration Analyst: Master's degree and 0 years of experience, Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related configuration and/or data management (CDM) experience, an Associate's degree and 4 years of related CDM experience, or 6 years of related CDM experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree

Principal Configuration Analyst: A PhD and 1 year of CDM experience, a Master's degree and 3 years of CDM experience, a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related CDM experience, an Associate's degree and 7 years of CDM experience, or 9 years of related CDM experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills to include the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Prior experience in Configuration and Data Management

Prior experience in Manufacturing

Prior experience MES/SAP/CPLM

Principle understanding of EBOMs, OBOMs, and MBOMs

Government Contracts Experience.

Familiarity with FAR/DFAR/DCMA.

Experience developing, evaluating or auditing plans, processes and procedures.

Experience with Teamcenter.

Experience with Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing and Test documentation.

Familiarity with Cost/schedule/budget concepts and tools (EVMS, SAP, etc.)

DoD secret clearance with the ability to obtain Program Access (PAR).

Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-61A and EIA-649, National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management.

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
