The Undersea Technology Portfolio, within SPA's Sea, Land, & Air Division, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging technologies and warfighting capabilities. We support clients across the undersea, naval special warfare, and expeditionary warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements, acquisition, and science and technology. #MC
SPA has a future need for a Configuration Management Analyst to support a PEO (SUB) Program Office.

Responsibilities
The Configuration Management Analyst will provide Undersea Weapon System configuration management expertise to NAVSEA affiliated PEOs and program managers for selected appropriated programs. They will assist in overseeing and maintaining the technical baseline and technical data package for research and technology initiatives and/or weapon system development. In addition, the CM Analyst will identify, document and verify the functional, performance, and physical characteristics of system designs, to control changes and non-conformances, and to track actual configuration of systems and platforms.
The Configuration Management Analyst will also provide oversight for Software Development, Test, and Integration programs. They will ensure complete of Performance Verification Tests (PVTs) and support the validation and verification of Incident Reports.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience with Configuration Management (CM) and management of a System Design Technical Data Package/technical baseline. This may include working in support of the Department of Defense, an armed service, or a related position (such as think tanks, Congressional staff, UARCs/FFRDCs, or other defense contractors)
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong communication and customer management skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Active DoD Secret Security clearance

Desired Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years of experience in Configuration Management (CM) and management of a System Design Technical Data Package/technical baseline
  • Experience with BQQ-10, Sonar, Software Development, Test and Evaluation, IV&V, Software Incident Reports, highly desired
  • Relevant experience on Navy Sonar/radar, Combat System, Training System, Electronic Warfare or Imaging System, or on other Undersea Warfare programs
