Job Summary
The Knowledge Management Analyst at Equinix is a specialized individual contributor responsible for supporting the development, delivery, and management of tools, content, data, reports, dashboards, user interfaces, and data repositories for the Global Value Advisory (GVA) team.
This is an internal, non-customer-facing role focused on operationalizing, maintaining, and scaling knowledge and content that enables sales and sales engagement teams. The role blends analytical skills, structured problem-solving, content operations, and practical AI tool usage to support how the GVA team quantifies the strategic and financial benefits of digital transformation and AI initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings a strong knowledge management and content operations background, a systems-oriented mindset, and the ability to design scalable, repeatable workflows that ensure content is dynamic, consistent, and easily consumable across platforms. This individual will collaborate closely with GVA, Sales, Sales Enablement, IT Operations, Solutions Validation Team, and cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
Knowledge & Content Management (Core Focus)
  • Own and manage the end-to-end content lifecycle, including knowledge intake, structuring, updating, and publishing
  • Build and maintain a centralized knowledge repository for GVA tools, frameworks, and assets
  • Ensure content is continuously updated, dynamic, and synchronized across platforms (PowerPoint, sales tools, internal systems)
  • Translate raw inputs into production-ready formats (e.g., executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, templates, tools)
  • Design scalable approaches to content distribution and updates, avoiding manual, one-off updates across multiple systems
  • Establish and enforce content governance, version control, and change management processes

Tools & Model Development
  • Maintain and update the knowledge library of ROI and TCO calculators, business case templates, maturity assessments, use cases, value frameworks, and external data feeds
  • Architect scalable, modular Excel-based models with clean assumption layers, scenario logic, and sensitivity analysis
  • Build reusable templates, calculators, and frameworks that GVA team members can rapidly tailor to specific needs
  • Enhance reports and dashboards to track GVA team engagement across internal and external initiatives

AI-Enabled Tooling and Workflow Optimization
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, OpenAI) to streamline content management, updates, and production workflows
  • Identify opportunities to automate and scale content updates across systems using AI and workflow tooling
  • Enable AI-assisted workflows for summarization, versioning, and content transformation
  • Maintain awareness of emerging AI capabilities relevant to knowledge management, consulting workflows, and sales enablement
  • Operate with practical AI fluency (hands-on usage preferred; deep development expertise not required)

Global Value Advisory Team Enablement
  • Partner with GVA, Sales, and Sales Enablement teams to understand recurring needs and translate them into scalable assets
  • Support quality review and consistency of tools and outputs used across engagements
  • Create documentation, training materials, and enablement assets for effective use of knowledge resources

Continuous Improvement
  • Gather feedback on content usability, accessibility, and gaps
  • Maintain a roadmap for knowledge management and tooling enhancements
  • Evaluate and introduce tooling (e.g., BI platforms, content management systems, automation solutions) to improve scale and efficiency

Qualifications
Experience & Background
  • ~5 years of experience in knowledge management, content operations, business analysis, or related roles
  • Experience supporting Sales / GTM or sales enablement environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing content across multiple platforms, formats, and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in workflows (practical usage preferred)
  • Consulting experience (e.g., McKinsey) at the Analyst level is a plus (not required)

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong proficiency in Excel-based modeling, data organization, and content structuring
  • Experience with content lifecycle management, workflow design, and version control
  • Ability to operationalize and scale content across systems and formats
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, executive-ready outputs
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a systems-thinking mindset focused on scalability and efficiency
  • Basic code-level awareness is a plus, but not required (non-developer role)
