Lab Technician | Quality Department
Hoehn Plastics, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our Quality Department.
The Lab Technician plays an important role in supporting product quality by performing routine sampling, inspections, testing, and documentation throughout the manufacturing process. This position works under the direction of the Quality Coordinator and partners with Quality Analysts and Operations to help ensure materials and products meet established Company and customer requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Collect, prepare, mold, and test raw material, in-process, and finished-product samples.
  • Perform inspections and testing in the Lab according to established procedures, testing methods, and specifications.
  • Accurately document test results, measurements, observations, and sample information.
  • Operate testing, measuring, and molding equipment.
  • Identify and communicate abnormal test results, potential quality concerns, and equipment issues.
  • Support Quality Analysts with additional testing, data collection, and quality-related activities.
  • Assist with sample collection throughout manufacturing and warehouse areas.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Lab environment.
  • Follow established Company safety, quality, and documentation requirements.

Physical & Work Environment
This position requires regular standing and walking, frequent bending and reaching, and the ability to frequently handle up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs. with appropriate assistance or equipment. Work is performed in Lab, warehouse, and manufacturing environments. Employees are required to follow applicable safety requirements and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
