Ready to make a real difference?The Community Based Services Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of Damar's community based services including program quality, audit, staffing and financial processes and outcomes. The supervisor ensures that all services provide and adhere to appropriate governing body and referral source standards including, but not limited to, DCS and Probation. The supervisor will oversee a team of bachelor and master level providers working directly with children and families involved with the Department of Child Services and/or Probation.

  • Provides clinical supervision and consultation to therapists for Family Prevention referrals
  • Provides support in file review, customer relations, crisis management and support; also include individual clinical supervision in addition to group clinical supervision
  • Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Assigns referrals to providers based upon client need and service requested
  • Reviews and approves monthly DCS reports
  • Ensures compliance with service standards and documentation requirements for each program
  • Ensures delivery of services in accordance with agency, licensing and accreditation standards
  • Understands HIPAA policies and knows how to implement security practices to stay compliant
  • Adheres to DCS Service Standards, Social Work Code of Ethics, and Damar policy and procedures
  • Maintains documentation that is accurate and legible
  • Will adhere to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Damar Operational Policies and Procedures Manual
  • Completes and updates mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner
  • Prioritizing duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth
  • Respecting the culture, diversity and rights of all clients, their families and the community

What you need to be considered:

  • Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or related field with Clinical Licensure required
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) through the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board is required
  • CSAYC (Preferred)
  • Experience working with children and families involved with the child welfare system and/or children and families with incidents of abuse or neglect
  • Minimum age of 18per licensure requirements
  • Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar's insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
  • Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
  • Favorably meet and maintain Damar's background screening
