Job Type: Full-time
Location: St Croix, USVI
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Community Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple properties and leading a team of property managers. As a Senior Community Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and profitable. The Senior Community Manager role is the duties of a Regional Manager. This position is required to be on-site daily (no remote work).
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of properties and ensure that they are well-maintained and profitable
- Develop and implement property management plans and strategies
- Oversee the work of property managers and maintenance staff
- Ensure that all properties are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors
- Prepare and manage budgets for each property
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure that all issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Negotiate and manage lease agreements
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and respond to their needs in a timely manner
- Managing three (3) properties: Mutual Homes; Mutual Homes II; Lorraine Village
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to property management
- Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks
- Strong financial management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
