Job description

The Community Center Director will have the unique opportunity to come alongside individuals, ministry leaders, and staff members to proclaim and partner in the life-changing work God is doing in the Fondren neighborhood. Our location, the age diversity of our congregation, and our vision to be "In the City. For the City" give the Community Center Director an incredible opportunity to mobilize our church to serve our neighborhood and city in the name of Jesus. With a strong financial commitment to missions, outreach, and local ministry partnerships, there are many potential avenues to lead our congregation in meaningful service. The Community Center Director will function as a primary liaison between Fondren Church and the Fondren neighborhood.
We envision someone who can create long-term systems to provide dignity-driven care in programs where children can be nurtured, where individuals and families can be cared for by the local church, and where a trusted place is created for people in the Fondren Neighborhood and the City of Jackson.
