Assistant coaches for Day camp are responsible for supervising and coaching children ages 3-17 during camp. Assistant Coaches are expected to provide a fun learning environment while also ensuring campers are safe. The position requires the ability to teach the game of soccer to work well with others in a professional manner.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Supervise campers and ensure a safe environment while they are Keene State's Campus
  • Engage with campers in a professional manner while creating a fun and inviting environment.
  • Assist teaching basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting.
  • Coaching basic concepts of soccer
  • Communicating group news and plans with camp administration
  • Being able to adjust to daily schedules and work with other teams

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
  • Playing Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work with others

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Assist teaching the technical and tactical skills of the game of soccer

This position will be a part of a Youth Skills Camp.
