Position Information
Job Title Assistant Volleyball Coach, Part-time, Temporary Full Time/Part Time Part-time Job Description
Assist with planning, organizing, instructing, supervising, and implementing aspects of the women's volleyball program as directed by the head coach.
Duties/Functions
  • Daily practice planning and implementation
  • Academic monitoring of student-athletes
  • Game day preparation
  • Reporting and updating results in a timely fashion
  • Recruiting college level talent for the program
  • Full NJCAA and GTCC compliance
  • Inventory responsibility of equipment and gear
  • Transporting/driving team to away competitions
  • Other duties the Head Coach may require for the program

Contacts Education Required
  • High School graduate
Education Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution
Experience Required
  • Knowledge of volleyball rules, regulations, skill development methods
Experience Preferred
  • Coaching/teaching experience is preferred. Greater consideration will be given to collegiate coaching experience.
KSA Required
  • Strong knowledge of volleyball is required.
KSA Preferred
  • Coaching experience
