Job description

Summary:
The Commissary position is responsible for preparing, assembling and packaging food items such as sauces, soups, etc for all MSC Restaurants while adhering to the highest food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
The candidate must have a clean driving record, be a responsible driver and be able to make product deliveries to Mobile and Baldwin Co. Stores.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Loads up product and make deliveries by van bi-weekly to MSC restaurants.
  • Produce and assemble sauces according to recipes following health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
  • Ability to understand and follow recipes, and weights and meet consistency standards.
  • Adhere to the details of the operation, including all operating standards, food standards, service standards, and policies and procedures as outlined in the company recipe books, manuals and handbook.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with commissary and kitchen staff.
  • Performs other duties and tasks assigned by the Manager. Ex: Washing Dishes, Cleaning Prep Area.
