POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Food Solutions (Commissary) General Manager coordination in various areas of the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Aware of the goals and direction of the Company and align all decisions and activities of Food Solutions and Napoleon's Bakery production operations to support that direction and achieve the goals.
  • Oversee all administrative needs of the Commissary Operations. This includes the Commissary Office Manager and office team, Wholesale Order Desk, Receiving and Bakery Office support, and all Accounts Receivables.
  • Maintain and improve sales with existing and new wholesale clients. This includes making recommendations to improve sales strategies, managing wholesale rebate/promotional programs, and maintaining ongoing communication with distribution partners.
  • Manages Intercompany sales and transactions and compiles sales projections for upcoming sales items.
  • Provides support to all other department Commissary Managers, which could include product label reviews for USDA and FDA compliance, review of production metrics and/or logistics, and support in maintenance of Food safety program records. 6. In the absence of the General Manager, oversees functions and operations of FSI production kitchen, Napoleon's Bakery Plant and Drivers operations, assisting in critical decisions if necessary.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure successful implementation of projects or information.
  • Seek ways to improve the office processes as well as ways to support the Zippy's operations.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements

Education:

  •  High School diploma or GED Experience
  •  One year in a management position
  •  Basic computer skills; email, creating spreadsheets and documents Desired Skills:

Scheduling: 

  •  Must be available to start work as early as 6am and stay until work is complete. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday but must be available on weekends and holidays as needed
  •  On occasion, may be required to work on site
  •  No less than 45 hours per week.

Physical Ability:

  •  Sitting most of the day
  •  Standing and walking throughout the day
  •  Reaching and bending frequently
  •  Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds
  •  Sight for performing computer work and paperwork
  •  Good speech and hearing necessary for communicating with staff, team members, managers, talking on the phone, training sessions, or during online meetings
