Job description

The Commercial Insurance Account Manager plays a crucial role in managing a large client portfolio across multiple offices, delivering comprehensive service for a wide range of commercial insurance products, including Property & Casualty and Workers' Compensation. Operating within a cross-functional team, this role supports underwriting and sales functions while ensuring compliance and maintaining strong client relationships. The position involves occasional travel and offers clear pathways for career advancement in managerial and specialist tracks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships for a large portfolio of 150+ commercial insurance clients
  • Administer policies and process renewals efficiently across 4 offices
  • Prepare insurance quotes and support underwriting activities
  • Provide sales support to drive client acquisition and retention
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Generate and maintain reporting for internal and client use
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to optimize service delivery

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in commercial insurance
  • Strong knowledge of all commercial insurance lines, including Property & Casualty and Workers' Compensation
  • Proven skills in client relationship management and contract negotiation
  • Experience supporting underwriting and sales processes
