Job description

Job Title: Commercial Escrow Officer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
Work Model: Onsite - onsite
Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday
Commercial Escrow Officer Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of commercial real estate closings from start to finish. Ensure title insurance requirements are satisfied prior to closing. Prepare closing statements, owner's affidavits, escrow agreements, and other closing documents.
  • Coordinate and disburse closing funds accurately and timely. Work closely with title underwriters, attorneys, buyers, sellers, lenders, and other parties to facilitate successful closings.
  • Maintain proactive, timely communication throughout complex commercial transactions.
  • Assist fellow Escrow Officers with closing activities as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting critical deadlines.

Commercial Escrow Officer Requirements:
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong technical aptitude.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Commitment to providing superior customer service.
  • Experience in title insurance and/or real estate settlement services preferred.
  • Experience with SmartView and/or SoftPro software is a plus, but not required.
