Hard Rock Hotel San Diego puts you in the limelight with chic accommodations, world-famous nightlife, and VIP guest experiences right in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter. During Comic-Con International, the hotel buzzes with energy - and our team behind the scenes makes every experience shine.
Our banquets, rooftop parties, events, bars, and in-room dining will be busier than ever. We need Temporary Kitchen Stewards to help keep the flow smooth, the kitchen spotless, and the vibes high for thousands of Comic-Con guests.
Your Mission
As a Temporary Kitchen Steward, you'll be the behind-the-scenes rock star keeping our kitchens clean, organized, and running at full speed during the busiest week of the year. You'll support our culinary and service teams by ensuring every pot, pan, and plate is ready to go - so our guests can enjoy the Hard Rock experience to the fullest.
What You'll Do
✅ Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently.
✅ Keep dish pits and back-of-house areas spotless and organized.
✅ Handle trash and recycling removal, ensuring workspaces are clean and safe.
✅ Restock and organize cleaning supplies and maintain chemical safety.
✅ Jump in to help teammates wherever needed to keep the operation smooth.
✅ Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards - because details matter!
You're a Great Fit If You...
Have previous stewarding, dishwashing, or back-of-house experience (preferred, but not required).
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and love working behind the scenes.
Bring a positive, dependable, team-player attitude.
Can stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Have flexible availability during Comic-Con week - early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays - because the Hard Rock never stops, and neither does Comic-Con!

Tu Misión
Como Kitchen Steward Temporal, serás la estrella tras bambalinas que mantiene nuestras cocinas limpias, organizadas y funcionando a toda velocidad durante la semana más ocupada del año. Apoyarás a nuestros equipos culinarios y de servicio asegurándote de que cada olla, sartén y plato esté listo para usarse - para que nuestros huéspedes disfruten al máximo la experiencia Hard Rock.
Lo Que Harás
✅ Lavar y desinfectar platos, utensilios, ollas, sartenes y equipo de cocina de manera rápida y eficiente.
✅ Mantener las áreas de lavado de platos y zonas de back-of-house impecables y organizadas.
✅ Manejar la eliminación de basura y reciclaje, asegurando espacios de trabajo limpios y seguros.
✅ Reabastecer y organizar suministros de limpieza y mantener la seguridad en el manejo de químicos.
✅ Apoyar a tus compañeros donde se necesite para mantener la operación sin contratiempos.
✅ Seguir todos los estándares de seguridad, saneamiento y limpieza - ¡porque los detalles importan!
Eres el Rockstar Perfecto Si...
Tienes experiencia previa como steward, lavaplatos o en back-of-house (preferible pero no indispensable).
Prosperas en un ambiente dinámico y de alto volumen y te encanta trabajar tras bambalinas.
Tienes una actitud positiva, confiable y espíritu de equipo.
Puedes mantenerte de pie por períodos prolongados y levantar hasta 50 libras cuando sea necesario.
Tienes disponibilidad flexible durante la semana de Comic-Con - mañanas tempranas, noches, fines de semana y días festivos - porque el Hard Rock nunca se detiene, ¡y Comic-Con tampoco!
