International Film Sales

Various Locations

A24 is seeking an International Film Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. As a key member of the sales team, you will drive first-run film sales across a diverse slate, leveraging deep industry knowledge and established relationships with international distributors to maximize the value of A24's titles across global territories. This role requires frequent international travel.

We are open to candidates based in NYC, Los Angeles, or London.

Initial Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers and distributors.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and valuations across film titles and territories
  • Lead deal negotiations for film rights and work closely with Legal, Finance, and Servicing to finalize contracts
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and shifts in audience behavior
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and pitches tailored to individual markets
  • Maintain a deep, current understanding of the global film and TV marketplace
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with internal teams on contractual obligations and A24 best practices
  • Represent A24 at major international film markets and travel to key territories throughout the year

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience selling first-run films
  • Proven track record in film valuation and international distribution negotiation
  • Strong, established relationships with international buyers and distributors
  • A genuine passion for film and building long-term partnerships

Our target salary range for this role is between $110,000 to $140,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
