Looking for a role that gets you out of the office and on the road?
PublicWorks1 is hiring a Traveling Data Collection Specialist to help cities and counties across the U.S. improve their infrastructure using advanced technology. This is a high-travel role (95%) where you'll spend most weeks traveling Monday-Friday, collecting roadway data using 360° imaging, GPS, and GIS tools. If you enjoy travel, hands-on work, are organized and have great communication skills, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
  • Travel extensively across the U.S. by plane and car
  • Collect roadway and infrastructure data using 360° imaging technology
  • Navigate routes and provide directions to drivers
  • Support pavement condition assessments for municipal projects
  • Communicate professionally with city and county personnel as needed
  • Track travel details, receipts, and project data
  • Stay organized and reliable in a fast-paced, travel-heavy schedule
