PURPOSE:

The Coffee Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring a high-quality customer experience while managing staff, inventory, and finances. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to create a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Management of operations

· Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of quality.

· Implement and maintain store policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.


Customer Experience

· Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues.

· Engage with customers to promote products and enhance their coffee experience.

· Organize events or promotions to attract customers and increase store traffic.


Staff Management

· Recruit, train and supervise baristas and support staff.

· Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.

· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.


Inventory Management

· Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

· Ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverage items.

· Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize waste and losses.


Financial Management

· Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring that the store operates within financial targets.

· Analyze sales data and report on key performance indicators to improve profitability.

· Manage cash handling and bank procedures.


Team Development

· Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

· Encourage staff development and growth through training and mentorship.

· Lead by example and motivate staff to maintain high levels of performance.
