About this position: Coffee Shop Barista Location – Nome, AK The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Taking client orders and receiving payment. Grind and brew coffee providing well-presented beverages. Develop expert knowledge of coffee and maintain consistency and attention to detail. Collaborate with all team members. Maintaining a clean and sanitized shop environment while following health and safety guidelines. Operate point of sale system and contribute to establishments sales. Punctual and maintaining consistent attendance. Ability to remain calm and efficient during peak business hours. Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the establishment. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
