Job description

Eventide Fargo is currently looking for a Part-Time Coffee Shop Assistant to work from 7:30am-1pm Monday through Friday. Can pick up additional shifts if available.

The Coffee Shop Assistant helps greet and serves customers in the Coffee/Gift Shop in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner. Providing meals, drinks, and other items to customers under sanitary conditions in a cheerful, timely manner and cooperating with others to carry out the operations of the Coffee Shop.

Ideal Candidate

Prior food service experience preferred, but not required.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Provides excellent customer service to all customers including tenants, staff and guests.
  2. Serves menu items according to portion control standards.
  3. Stocks food items as assigned.
  4. Performs cleaning in the coffee shop to include wiping off tables, chairs, counters, and all equipment.
  5. Ensure proper maintenance of cafe equipment.
  6. Operates and safeguards the cash register to include opening and closing of till and making change.
