Job description

Sparrow Coffee Clarendon Hills is hiring Team Members!
Our team members focus on guest services which includes but is not limited to: taking orders, bagging to-go orders, bringing food to guests, and curating the experience for all in our cafe.
Responsibilities: Welcome and care for customers from ordering to delivering food and beverages. Follow all provided guidelines for various workstations: dining room, register, expediter, kitchen, dishes, and coffee bar. Maintain a clean and orderly workstation. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. Perform other duties as assigned requirements. Knowledge of health and safety rules. Manual dexterity, able to carry various objects, operate order terminal, operate kitchen/barista equipment. A team player with good communication skills. Patient, with an ability to stay positive under pressure. Very good physical condition and endurance are a must.
Sparrow Coffee looks to train and promote from within to barista, supervisor, and management positions.
Part-time (20 hours) and full-time (32+ hours) positions available.
Flexible weekend availability required.
