About the Regional Manager Position
As the Regional Manager, you exemplify Bean Sprouts' philosoPEA and HIPP core values of Health, Innovation, Positivity, and Playfulness, ensure guests have a top-notch Bean Sprouts Experience, and drive sales and profits. As part of our leadership team, you help build an inclusive and engaged workforce and promote a collaborative, solution focused environment.
The Regional Manager for our Central/Eastern Region is responsible for managing multi-unit Bean Sprouts Cafés across multiple states, with opportunities for growth. This position is accountable for building and maintaining relationships with our host partners, oversight and facilitation of training and development, conducting operational reviews, achieving or exceeding period and annual budgets, and continuous implementation of plans to drive financial results.
This is a remote position to be located within the Atlanta metro area. Travel to locations within the central and eastern regions for regular monthly site visits, and as needed.
Regional Manager Responsibilities
  • Model our HIPP core values with consistent in-person and virtual coaching of Bean Leaders and teams to boost financial, operational, and partner relations while holding teams accountable for results.
  • Support your teams with regular communication and assistance with problem solving; set expectations and provide timely feedback, guidance, and training.
  • Maintain an onsite presence across locations with regular visits to locations within your region.
  • Partner with Human Resources to recruit, select, and train top talent to ensure all cafes are adequately staffed.
  • Act as Interim Bean Leader (General Manager) in your cafes if the need arises. Be the first line of response for any emergency.
  • Ensure that overall food quality, presentation, and safety standards are met.
  • Review customer comments and social media reviews to define areas of improvement and ensure any guest complaints are resolved within 72 hours.
  • Ensure exceptional execution of catering and special events.
  • Achieve or exceed period and annual budgets. Provide leadership with actionable analysis and implementation of plans that continuously drive financial results.
  • Engage in strategic planning for variable business levels and growth.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • 5+ years food service management experience including multi-unit management, ideally in a high volume, family-friendly, fast casual environment.
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills; demonstrated sales building; personnel management; and training and development.
  • Extensive experience managing P&Ls, including controlling labor and COGS.
  • Culinary training or hands-on kitchen experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in food and beverage inventory management, including vendor ordering, cost-effective purchasing, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Systems knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, and POS operations.
  • Basic math and accounting skills as they relate to restaurant management.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations, employment law, and food service standards.
  • Possess and maintain valid Manager's Serve Safe certification or equivalent.
  • Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds and work in a standing position for long periods of time with or without accommodation.
  • Able to work a minimum of 45 hours per week; work flexible hours necessary to support your locations, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to travel regularly to locations within the central and eastern regions, approximately 30% travel.
