Job description

We’re hiring a Licensed Oklahoma HVAC Journeyman to serve as a Field Supervisor. This is a working supervisor position: you’ll run your own jobs/crew, while also coaching and supervising other field teams to ensure safe, code-compliant, customer-ready work across the board.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead daily HVAC work on your assigned jobs (service, repairs, start-ups, install support)
  • Supervise multiple field crews/teams: job quality, safety, pacing, and professionalism
  • Perform field QA/QC: verify workmanship, airflow basics, refrigerant practices, electrical/controls, condensate, gas (as applicable), and clean job completion
  • Solve jobsite issues quickly (code questions, fitment, parts/materials, customer concerns)
  • Train, mentor, and hold technicians/installers accountable to company standards
  • Coordinate with dispatch/installation coordinator/warehouse to keep jobs moving
  • Reduce callbacks through consistent process and coaching
  • Maintain documentation: photos, checklists, notes, permits/inspections coordination as needed
  • Model excellent customer communication and a “leave it better than we found it” approach

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Oklahoma HVAC Journeyman license (in good standing)
  • EPA 608 Certification (required)
  • 5+ years HVAC field experience (residential-heavy preferred)
  • Proven leadership: lead tech, crew lead, foreman, trainer, or supervisor experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills: refrigeration cycle, evacuation/charging, electrical diagnostics, controls
  • Valid driver’s license + insurable driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs; work in attics/crawlspaces and Oklahoma weather conditions

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • NATE Certification
  • Light commercial RTU experience
  • Comfort with performance verification (static pressure awareness, airflow checks)
  • Experience training apprentices and improving team performance
