Work Period: July/August 2026 to December 2026

Location & Schedule: This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in  the Bay Harbor Islands in Miami, FL with the remaining days worked remotely. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.

This role: As a Social/Sharks Latin America (LATAM) Marketing Co-op, you will support the Latin America Social Media Team across key initiatives, with a strong focus on social-first marketing, community engagement, and market intelligence. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is deeply connected to Latin American culture, passionate about social media, and excited to help build meaningful brand relationships across LATAM markets. These co-ops will serve as primary liaisons between our brand and our Latin American community of customers, followers, and fans. You will help nurture relationships, facilitate conversations, and foster a positive and inclusive online environment while supporting strategic marketing initiatives across the region. We are seeking fluent Portuguese and English speakers who ideally will have some proficiency in Spanish (conversational+) as well, as well as fluent Spanish and English speakers that will have some proficiency in Portuguese (conversational+). 

Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:

  • Implement and support community engagement strategies to grow and nurture LATAM online communities across platforms such as social media, forums, and online groups
  • Actively monitor and respond to community feedback, inquiries, and conversations in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, representing our brand voice and values
  • Stay up to date on LATAM social media trends, platform updates, and community management best practices
  • Create and curate engaging, culturally relevant content including posts, polls, contests, and community activations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer support, and product to share community insights and advocate for LATAM audience needs
  • Identify opportunities for user-generated content, testimonials, and case studies within LATAM markets
  • Assist the Latin America Social Media Team on special projects supporting regional marketing strategies
  • Track and analyze community sentiment, engagement metrics, and performance to help inform future strategies

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

  • Education: Current student in a bachelor's, or master's program, or has graduated within the past year 
  • Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in the Bay Harbor Islands in Miami, FL
  • Fluent Portuguese speaker required
  • Preference for a candidate has a strong connection to Latin American culture, such as identifying as a first- or second-generation Latino or majoring in Latin American Studies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and adapt to various communication styles
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with community members, address concerns, and resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tool
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Passion for our brand and industry, with a genuine interest in building relationships and fostering community engagement.
