Job description

Nursing Assistant Maternity Per Diem

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $17.05 โ€“ $25.34, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

Position Summary: Nursing Assistant Maternity Per Diem. Various Shifts

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • A variety of clinical measures, including monitoring vital signs and oxygen levels
  • Bathing, observation and meals
  • ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
  • Answering call buttons
  • Ensures patient care is delivered by age-specific category requirements and established policy and procedure for all patient populations
  • Responds promptly and compassionately to patient needs and requests. Must have a can-do attitude, with a strong focus on teamwork, and possess excellent customer service skills

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent or five years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Basic Life Support certification. Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) is helpful but not required.
  • An every-other-weekend schedule commitment is required.
