What does a CNA intern do?

A CNA intern assists nursing staff by providing basic patient care, such as helping with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and supporting patient comfort. They gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while developing skills in patient communication and safety protocols, often under supervision and with certification requirements.

Can you work with babies with a CNA?

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working in a maternity or neonatal setting can assist with newborns and infants, provided they have specialized training in neonatal care. CNAs may support nurses and healthcare teams by helping with basic care, hygiene, and comfort for babies under supervision, but they do not perform advanced medical procedures. Certification and experience in pediatric or neonatal care are important for working directly with babies in such environments.

Can a CNA make $1000 a week?

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) typically earn between $10 and $20 per hour, so making $1000 a week would require working approximately 50 or more hours, which is above standard full-time hours. Overtime, shift differentials, or working in high-demand facilities can increase earnings, but earning $1000 weekly is generally achievable with additional hours or bonuses depending on the location and employer policies.
