Wilson Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in the north side of Chicago, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Rehabilitation Services Associate/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team.

Must be a CNA. $19.50 per hour - This is a Union Position

RSAs/CNAs work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, offering recovery and rehabilitation support and services to those who live in the facility.


Responsibilities of the RSA/CNA:

  • Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
  • Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
  • Assist medical treatment team as assigned
  • Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions, as well as assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
  • Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • CNA Certification required
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Must speak, read, and write English
  • Service mindset of compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
