As a Property Contract Closeout Specialist, you will contribute to a fast-paced innovative team and work closely with Property and Logistics functional management, Program management, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), contracts and other functions that support the Raytheon property system. You will collaborate with these functions to coordinate Property Closeout activities related to Government and/or Customer Property as required by company policies, Federal/State Regulations, and Contractual terms and conditions.
In this role, you will manage and maintain aspects of the Property Management System for contract closeout, including support for audits, inventory, disposition, subcontractor control, relief of stewardship, contract transfer, and records management.
What You Will Do
  • Serve as the primary contact for all matters related to Contract Closeout, ensuring the removal of all property from completed contracts. This includes Special Test Equipment, Equipment, Special Tooling, and Materials.
  • Provide expert guidance to Program Management and support teams on the effective use of tools and systems to manage property closeout actions.
  • Oversee the contract transfer process as requested, manage submissions to Contracts, update records, and ensure receipt postings are completed to maintain a compliant property system.
  • Consistently display effective communication and strong professional behaviors.
  • Deliver training and awareness materials tailored to specific audiences, including program leadership, engineering teams, lab management, and other functional organizations.
  • Support a culture of improvement and efficiency into the Logistics and Property organization driving innovative solutions and affordability.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at elevating the organization.
  • Support compliance with all regulations and internal/external audit protocols.
  • Identify bottlenecks based on metrics that drive and/or affect the property system.
  • Daily interaction with other teams, programs, and Business Units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate for continuous learning and sharing with other individuals within the organization to continuously raise business and property acumen.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.
  • Experience with either Government Property, Logistics, Contracts, Program Management, or Supply Chain.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM) and Property system (i.e., SPS, PCIR)
  • Experience of using Government reporting systems (i.e. WAWF, PIEE, and established role as a GFP Contractor Property Manager)
  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
