Job description

Elite ABA Therapy, LLC is an outpatient behavioral health center that provides one-on-one center-based Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children between the ages of 2 to 8 who have been diagnosed with Autism and/or other developmental delays. We are located in Wilkes-Barre Twp, PA and operate year-round. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. We are closed on all federal holidays.

Elite ABA Therapy, LLC specializes in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, which are the most widely known evidence-based practices for teaching new skills and improving behavior. Our goal is to optimize our clientsโ€™ independence and promote social integration by teaching meaningful and socially significant skills in the least restrictive environment. Our clinic is designed to simulate an Early Intervention-like setting, but without academic curriculum. Teaching is completely individualized and based on the clientโ€™s needs identified in their treatment plan. Clients receive 1:1 individual services but are grouped with up to 7 other children to simulate a classroom. Each group of children follow a daily schedule of activities that include both individual and group formats. Individual activities include direct instruction of skill acquisition programs specified in the clientโ€™s individualized treatment plan, such as teaching communication skills. Group activities include circle time, structured play groups, and planned activities (music, arts and crafts, etc.) to work on social skills and generalizing learned skills to group settings.

Clinic Assistant Service Role and Responsibilities

A Clinic Assistant has a mixed role that includes both administrative duties and providing services with clients, such as changing diapers, assisting with snack/lunch prep and cleanup, covering clients while staff take a 10-minute break. Providing services with clients is always the priority, and administrative duties are done when client services are not needed at the time.


Clinic Assistant Daily Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating client and staff daily schedules.
  • Onboarding new clients and staff
  • Maintaining client and staff files
  • Plan occasional crafts and daily activities for clients.
  • Answer incoming phone calls.
  • Maintain agency email account and forward emails to appropriate staff.
  • Take clients to the bathroom during scheduled intervals and as needed (assist client with toilet use and/or change diapers/pull ups)
  • Assist with snack/lunch
  • Provide 10-minute breaks for staff and cover their clients during that time
  • Monitor clinic inventory of materials/supplies
  • Organize/sanitize clinic materials
  • Guided tours of the clinic for potential clients and staff.
  • Assist with setting up staff onboarding trainings.

Pay rate and benefits will be as follows:

  • Part-Time: 30 hours per week provided in the clinic setting, Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
  • Starting pay rate $17 hour
  • Accrue up to 2 weeks of flexible paid time off per year (60 hours).
