Job description

The Rockland County Department of Health is currently seeking a per diem Clinic Physician to perform professional medical work at the Department's Family Planning Clinic. Work will be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, procedures and applicable laws and regulations, and includes supervision of the clinical team.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possession of a license to practice medicine in New York State and a residency of at least three (3) years with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology, including family planning.
Other Requirements and Information:
  • Must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • License to practice medicine in New York State and board certification must be maintained throughout the course of employment in this title
Salary and Benefits:
Benefit eligibility based on hours worked:
  • $100 per hour
  • Additional benefits may include Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • Time off including vacation, personal, and holiday time
  • New York State Retirement System
