We are a small animal practice looking for a full time Veterinary Client Services Representative. We are looking for a dependable individual to join our team. This role will be responsible for greeting patients, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and other receptionist duties as needed. The hours are scheduled Monday thru Friday 7:30a to 5:30p.

POSITION SUMMARY:
A Client Services Representative focuses on client service and communication. He or she is the first person met in the Clinic, and is key in creating first and last impressions. The Client Services Representative must have exceptional client service and communication skills and the ability to multi-task, handle payments and financial issues. He or she must also possess a friendly attitude and the confidence to deal with stressful situations. Client Services Representative, supports veterinarians and hospital team in daily patient and client care. They communicate with clients in person, by phone, email and other online platforms.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet clients and pets by name. Answer phones promptly and professionally using a multi-phone line system. Route phone calls to appropriate staff/office including taking messages if necessary. Answer clients' general questions about surgeries, veterinary services and products .(flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, vaccines, pre-anesthetic testing, pain management and other medications, shampoos, home dental products and other retail items).Provide knowledgeable advice about wellness prevention and diseases. Provide phone shoppers with a description of services and prices. Receive and send faxes. Ensure the reception area has current reading materials and is clean and odor free. This includes cleaning up after pets' accidents in the lobby and sidewalk, if needed. Update client information (phone number, address, etc.) in both the chart and computer at client check in. Retrieve and file patient medical records. Schedule appointments according to hospital guidelines. Make appointment confirmation calls. Aid technicians in filling refill requests and review instructions with clients. Communicate doctors' recommendations when checking out clients. Discuss financial policy with clients. Enter accurate charges into the computer. Explain invoices to show value for care provided. Collect payment at time of provided services, including making change for cash payments, processing credit cards and care credit. Verify patients vaccines status for appointments.
