POSITION SUMMARY: Krause Landscape is seeking a dedicated Landscape Client Representative to be the primary point of contact for our maintenance clients. This role is responsible for nurturing client relationships from initial sale through ongoing weekly maintenance, driving new business, and increasing department revenue by delivering exceptional customer service. You will manage client needs and requests, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Maintain established sales volume by keeping current with client needs, changing trends, and competitors; increase sales by following up on new leads and prospective clients.
  • Initiate and attend all preliminary and subsequent Maintenance client presentations and meetings.
  • Participate in onsite visits and walkthroughs with the client to ensure needs are being met.
  • Inform clients of relevant issues regarding their property and involve them in relevant decision making.
  • Follow the sales process (i.e. using Maintenance agreements, dissemination of information to admin and production, etc.).
  • Manage all communication and correspondence with current and prospective clients, ensuring a "One Point of Contact."
  • Recommend and advise clients on additional services or enhancements.
  • Oversee and guide weekly maintenance and enhancements to ensure results will exceed client expectations and enhance Mariani's reputation.
  • Assists in the scheduling of jobs with the Production Coordinators.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation (i.e. client history, sales reports, client contact list, etc.)
  • Initiate and approve all necessary work orders and change orders necessary to communicate with the maintenance department.
  • Prepare proposals, renewals, and contracts using appropriate standard templates.
  • Monitor the billing process and Accounts receivable.
  • Work with the Crew Leaders to ensure any desires or information expressed by the client is completed accurately.
  • Communicates with Administrative Support team, Accounting Team, Production Coordinators, and Crew Leaders as required to update project status.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years sales experience, preferably in the landscape industry.
  • Demonstrate exemplary knowledge of landscape terminology, plant materials, and installation techniques.
  • Previous experience as a Client Representative, Production Coordinator, or Crew Leader preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and independently, including taking direction and constructive feedback from team members, as well as providing feedback to other team members.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to perform duties wherever volume deems it necessary.
  • Minimize non-productive time and fill slow periods with activities that will enable you to prepare to meet the future needs of internal and external clients.
