Commercial Sales Representative

The Grounds Guys of League City, Pearland and Friendswood


Position Overview

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business growth by managing leads, building client relationships, and selling landscape maintenance, enhancements, and installation projects. This role ensures consistent follow-up on marketing-generated leads and represents The Grounds Guys with professionalism and integrity.

Reports To: Travis Reed, Owner

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt


Key Responsibilities

- Manage and follow up on all leads generated by company marketing efforts.

- Prospect via cold calling and outreach activities to secure new maintenance contracts within targeted service areas.With expectation of 30 contacts per week.

- Upsell enhancements and seasonal services to existing clients as approved.

- Develop relationships with builders, property managers, and referral partners.

- Prepare and present professional estimates using LMN and company templates.

- Track sales opportunities, proposals, and closed deals within LMN.

- Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals (to be determined).

- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth project handoff.

- Maintain knowledge of company services, pricing structure, and capacity.

- Participate in weekly team and sales meetings.

- Join the rotation for closing up the shop one day per week.


Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured by consistent lead follow-up, new contract acquisition, client satisfaction, and contribution to overall revenue growth. Sales targets will be established and reviewed quarterly.
