Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute sales targets and strategy for ARCALYST in the assigned geography

  • Achieve sales goals and targets

  • Lead business planning across the assigned geography

  • Provide feedback to improve sales and marketing strategy

  • Monitor regional operating and expense budgets for compliance and optimal resource use

  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to build relationships with Thought Leaders and key institutions

  • Translate corporate objectives and business insights/analytics into measurable action plans for direct reports

  • Track, monitor, and report sales performance and progress

  • Evaluate direct report performance and provide behavior-based feedback

  • Foster collaboration across internal, cross-functional stakeholders

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing company activities

  • Travel weekly by air or car (required)


Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (required)

  • 10+ years leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales teams; 5+ years in second-line leadership role (required)

  • Cardiology experience (strongly preferred)

  • Rare disease experience (strongly preferred)

  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy dynamics (must)

  • Injectables experience (strongly desired)

  • Proven track record exceeding quantitative and qualitative targets

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Marketing, Sales Operations, or related support experience (plus)

  • Working knowledge of reimbursement landscape and healthcare trends

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to translate strategy into execution (critical)
