THE POSITION:

Minimum Qualifications

CLERK TYPIST I:
  • Graduation from high school or attainment of a satisfactory score on a G.E.D. test; OR
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the capabilities to perform the described duties.

CLERK TYPIST II:
  • Graduation from high school or attainment of a satisfactory score on a G.E.D. test, including or supplemented by courses in business practices and typing; AND
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the capabilities to perform the described duties.

HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; Ability to operate a variety of office equipment including use of personal computers; Ability to navigate computer software applications.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Applicants MUST submit a copy of a current typing certificate dated within the last two years of the filing deadline certifying 40 NET WORDS PER MINUTE. Note: We WILL accept typing certificates obtained on-line. Click here for .
