Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide, with a positive attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing personal accounts with demonstrated experience
  • Assistsย department leadership with special projects and business needs in support of agency operations and growth (i.e.ย training, workflow improvements, communications,ย meetings/event coordination,ย documentation of best practices)ย 
  • Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge in conjunction with The Ansay Way to the highest level possibleย andย demonstrateย expertiseย in both quality and efficiencyย ย 
  • Responsible forย strong results ofย account Round/Up-Sell existing books forย additionalย lines of coverage or policy limits (umbrellas/ higher limits/specific coverage endorsements)ย 
  • Handles VIP client accounts by providing outstanding customer service and tailored experienceย 
  • Ensures properย documentation handling and detail-oriented workflow. Best practices areย upheldย andย provides regular recommendations and feedback for improvementsย ย 
  • Serves asย role modelย andย mentorย to account managers,ย andย demonstratesย core values and strong collaboration with account executives, producers, and team membersย ย 
  • Proactively handleย Pre-renewalย calls (EXDT)ย andย client touchpoints,ย and review company issued Renewal policies for accuracyย 
  • Prepare Auto ID Cards, Evidence of Property, Summary of Insurance, and Bindersย 
  • Obtain information requested by the company underwriterย 
  • Remarketing accounts as needed for renewals and book conversionsย 
  • Review company issuedย newย policies for accuracy inย rating, endorsements forms,ย discountsย and coveragesย 
  • Work with accounting to invoice all premium bearing Agency bill transactionsย 
  • Handle telephone requests and written miscellaneous correspondence (ex: Client calls, Bank requests)ย 
  • Process cancellations requestsย 
  • Keep up to date on insurance forms and coverage changes through bulletins and circularsย 
  • Process claims andย followย up as needed based on workflowย 
  • Assist Sales Advisors with follow-up forms (ex:ย EFT forms, billing corrections, etc.)ย 
  • Communicate any relevant/necessary information back to the Sales Advisors about their clients, such as large losses, changes in households, or cancellations)ย 
  • Service personal lines accounts in a manner toย eliminateย gaps in coverage, thus reducing our E&O exposuresย 
  • Provide prompt,ย accurate, courteous service to customers,ย producersย and company personnelย 
  • Continue professional development (i.e., keep current with industry changes, continuous training, pursue professional designations, etc.ย 
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Continued education or degree (from an accredited university) in Business or related field preferred โ€“ workplace experience will also be consideredย 

Experience:

  • Key partner with the Team Leader in communication,ย collaboration,ย training, newย roll-outs, and execution of consistency throughout the departmentย 
  • Go-to mentor forย new staff, team members, and for line of businessย expertiseย who also lives core values, embraces change, and supports strategic initiativesย 
  • Line of business champion whoย demonstratesย best-in-class customer experience and continuous improvement mindsetย ย 
  • Ability to take on special projects and initiatives in addition to servicing book of business at high quality rateย ย 
  • Minimum of five years of Customer Service experienceย preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of Personal Lines experienceย 
        Licenses & Certifications
        • Property & Casualty licenseย ย - preferred
        • Obtained a CISR or CISR Elite designation(s)ย  - preferred
