This is an exciting time to join a growing team that is focused on an important market opportunity for Cisco Security, specifically within the SLED & Public Sector space. Our environment resembles that of a technology start-up, but within a well-resourced Fortune 100 company.

You are comfortable representing Cisco externally, including participating in industry panels, customer forums, and thought leadership opportunities to strengthen Cisco's security presence.

  • 5+ years of sales management experience of a technical sales organization that includes salespeople and systems engineers
  • Experience leading sales teams within the US SLED & Public Sector market, with an understanding of federal procurement and contracting environments
  • Current knowledge of SLED/Public Sector and Security market trends, with strong leadership skills in a cross-functional teaming environment
  • Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams while driving consistent execution and accountability

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and an MBA or graduate degree preferred
