• NCR is looking for a CI Architect to help define and drive CI Build, test and deployment tools, patterns and processes.
• Responsibility includes oversight of the CI activities of the many projects of the product line, including Windows/Linux Desktop Clients, Windows and Linux Server packages and mobile iOS and Android projects.
• Emphasis is on desktop and mobile clients and associated server components as opposed to web applications.
• The candidate is required to have excellent Jenkins skills, including both server and Jenkins agents and be familiar with creating and maintaining multi-tenant build environments and managing the associated physical and virtual parallel test targets and synchronization of the distributed components.
• This position shall define techniques and processes required for broad scale adoption of standardized CI Build / Test automation, and work with corporate ITS to insure the capacity and availability of virtualized services.
• The position is responsible for designing and proposing network/firewall changes to accommodate new CI Test environments or otherwise meet team objectives.
• The position shall work w/ engineering to define processes and procedures for remotely re-partitioning physical and virtualized equipment under control of the CI Build process.
• While the initial client/server focus is Windows, the role will also be responsible for establishing the similar processes and tools for Linux CI build and test environment.
• Position to work with retailers and internal teams to deliver packages to test targets using SCCM and like tools for client and server packages, Crashlitics, Airwatch and similar packages for mobile devices.
• The candidate may be expected to lead an agile team of engineers and coordinate their work to accomplish assigned goals.
Candidate shall be able to communicate and coordinate effectively with Retailers regarding extension of NCR's CI Build / Test environment to the hand-off for Retailer's deployment.
