Job description

Zachary Piper is seeking a Data Center Engineer- TS/SCI CI Poly in the Reston, Virginia area for a leading global technology organization. The Data Center Engineer - TS/SCI CI Poly must work onsite in the SCIF 5 days a week. The Data Center Engineer must hold an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities for the Data Center Engineer - TS/SCI CI Poly include: · Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage network activity for large enterprise customer data networks · Work closely with other engineers to support customer project requests · Provide high level technical expertise to support LAN and WAN · Offer recommendations for improving network and systems performance, efficiency, and security Requirements for the Data Center Engineer - TS/SCI CI Poly include: · Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance · Over 5 years of systems and network administration/engineering experience · Deep understanding of key technologies and protocols in network and security including route switch protocols, configurations, specifically EIGRP, BGP and SD-WAN, MPLS is a must. · Strong experience in WAN, LAN, Firewalls, and Cisco router/switch configuration · Well versed in Linux and Windows · Previous VMware experience building and deploying new virtual machines Compensation of the Data Center Engineer - TS/SCI CI Poly: $130,000 - $170,000 plus comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays.
