Job Title: Project Manager
Job Location: Tallahassee, FL (hybrid)
Job Overview:
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings; including agenda and minutes preparation as directed by the Department (i.e. schedule meetings, document decisions, identify issues and action items).
  • Draft use cases, process maps, and standard operating procedures, as directed by the Department.
  • Draft design documentation, as directed by the Department.
  • Draft training documentation such as user manuals and deliver training to users, as directed by the Department.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and prioritization as assigned by the Department.
  • Perform needs analysis, analyze business processes, develop process maps, and assist team members as assigned by the Department.
  • Draft functional and technical specifications as assigned by the Department.
  • Develop test cases, test plans, and conduct UAT as assigned by the Department.
  • Facilitate UAT with the team members as assigned by the department.
  • Write specific, measurable, attainable, reasonable, and traceable (SMART) business requirements in a format which includes role or persona, the need and outcome.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering with team members as assigned by the Department.
  • Draft and maintain project documents (project charters, project plans, status reports, schedules and others) related to projects being managed as assigned by the Department.
  • Gather data, conduct data analysis, and create dashboards and reports as assigned by the Department.
  • Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with project teams and other stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and status as directed by the Department.

Required Experience:
  • Must be a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a minimum of two years of project management experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience communicating project updates both orally and in written form with technical staff, executive management, and user staff.
  • A minimum of two years of experience with facilitating current state or application analysis sessions and documenting applications through use case process documents and workflow diagrams.
  • A minimum of two years of experience developing project plans.
  • A minimum of two years of experience with creating and presenting internal and external status reports and detailed status reports suitable for presentation to the management team.
  • A minimum of two years of experience tracking work tasks and maintaining project schedules (including work breakdown structures).
  • A minimum of two years of experience with risk tracking, mitigation, and issue tracking.
  • A minimum of two years of experience with delivering projects as per agreed schedule, as per the current technical specification (within scope), and within the approved budget.
  • A minimum of two years of experience with meeting facilitation and documentation.
  • A minimum of two of experience in at least two of the following tools: HP Project Portfolio Management, Microsoft Project, Cherwell Software - IT Management Enterprise, Smart Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, or Microsoft Word.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in communications development and planning
  • Two years of experience identifying, analyzing, and documenting policies, processes, and procedures using use case process documents, workflow diagrams, and drafting of standard operating procedures.
  • Two years of experience gathering, drafting, and prioritizing requirements.
  • Two years of experience with meeting facilitation, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Two years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), writing test scripts, testing methodologies and documentation.
  • Two years of experience drafting functional and technical specifications.
  • Two years of experience with the use of Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel.
  • Two years of technical writing experience including drafting of project documents, reports, and user guides for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Two years of tracking work tasks and project schedules.
  • Two years of experience gathering and analyzing data to develop reports.
